On Wednesday, August 29th NCC is hosting our annual Party with a Purpose.  As we’ve announced this in service and advertised it in the weekly emails you may have asked yourself, “What’s this all about?” Or “I wonder if I should attend?”

Both are good questions, and since good questions deserve good answers I will now endeavour to do just that.

Reason 1 why you should attend:  Vision

Pastor Sam and I as your leading pastors want to sow vision into you.  We want you to know, understand and be fully engaged with the what, how and when of our church vision.

During our talk time we will help you gain perspective of just how far the church has come in the last 12 months.  2018 has been a record year for NCC and we still have the last quarter of the year to push even higher.

How are we going to push, you may ask.  Show up for the party and find out.

What’s next for NCC and when will it happen?  Big things are on the horizon and you don’t want to miss the unveiling of the next phase.

Reason 2 why you should attend:  Corporate Prayer

Corporate prayer is something churches, unfortunately, don’t do enough of but on this night we will have a time to bless the Lord for His goodness and pray over the upcoming plans.

Reason 3 why you should attend:  It’s a Party

Who doesn’t like a party?  Free food. A taco truck will be parked at the front door to help the fiesta start off with a bang.  We’ll play a game or two, there will be a give away and did I mention tacos? Of course there’s time for fellowship because nothing says “Christian” like food and fellowship.  After our talk and prayer and you’ve digested the deliciousness wrapped in tortillas we’ll have desert also.

What else are you going to do on a Wednesday night?  I know this has been a bit light hearted but in all seriousness the expectation is for all NCC members who want to see and hear what God has done, is doing and is about to do, to be here on August 29th.  And of course you’ll get to see how you can get involved because church is not a spectator sport.

So if you’ve ever thought to yourself, “I wish the pastors would take time to explain some things,” your wish is granted.

If you’ve ever wondered why we don’t have more corporate prayer, get your praying shoes on.

If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Why don’t we have more fun and fellowship times at NCC?”  This is a designated fun night.

Have you ever just had a hankering for tacos from a vending truck?  We’ve got you covered.

Again the date is Wednesday, August 29th at 6:30 and we’ll have you out in a couple of hours.  So make plans to join us, rejoice with us and party with us.
